Dealer is ripping you off. ?

I too got this notice recently right before a road trip. Voltage was just above 12V; didn't want to risk it, so I rushed over to the dealer and bought a battery from them (~$140) and I...
Yes, it's normal. I understand the concern, but if you have enough energy to go about your daily routine, then don't worry about it.
When it comes to a long distance trip use a planner (e.g. ABRP), adjust the efficiency numbers based on how you drive, and see where it says you'll need to stop...
My issue is that at 40 and below the car cannot even produce warm air when in motion. I don't even turn the heater on at that point.
So if the heat pump can actually warm the car, I'd call that a win even if the range is still terrible...
The worst experience I've ever had is having to wait 20 minutes for an EA charger on a busy travel day, right next to about a dozen unused Super Chargers.
Yet I still check this thread to see how close it's getting to my order numbers. ?
The issue is false promises and unmet expectations.
Obviously at this point if you actually need one, you're a fool to trust that Tesla will deliver, and you should be buying one yourself from a third party.
I have that same adapter. If you go to PlugShare and set the Filters / Network to only show "Tesla Destination" (NOT Supercharger), you'll see where it works. This will be overnight charging, typically at a hotel.
I've only used it once or twice. It's nice as a back up since these chargers are...
I had similar damage that cost about the same as yours to repair.
On the other hand, my wife barely tapped someone in a parking lot at low speeds, barely cracked a piece in the front and it was $8000. ?
Yeah, preheating works great. But once you're on the move, it either just blows cold air or fogs up the windows.
At least the heated seats work well (basically burns your flesh off), but that doesn't help the rear passengers. I fixed it by installing blankets. :ROFLMAO:
The AC is great. If it isn't blowing cold air, then either AC isn't turned on, vents are closed, or the car is broken and don't buy!
However, the heater is horrible to the point of being almost useless during a northern winter, at least on the 2022 models.
Are there any known issues regarding the speakers sounding distorted or rattling? Mine are messed up. To me it's pretty obvious. I think it's the center or wherever the primary annoying beeps originate from when you start the car. It's less noticeable on music but there is more going on.
I'm...
Agreed, although unfortunately a lot of that can be hidden behind walls. The horrors I've found when remodeling houses (all pre-1960s builds) I've lived at would give me pause to use existing wiring for EV charging. I ran brand new wiring for my charger.
Something I find more annoying than having my car unplugged is when someone posts a large block of AI generated text on a forum as if they wrote it themselves.
I have a GT and a GTPE and they get equivalent range.
At highway speeds in 70F weather, I get around 250 miles. Same trip in freezing winter, I get around 180.
All other situations I don't care about because I charge nightly to 80%-90% depending on season.
More options and historically more reliable.
Note there is a difference between an adapter that lets you charge at an L2 Tesla destination charger and an adapter that lets you charge at a Tesla supercharger. The former has been available for a while but isn't helpful at superchargers.
There's usually only one company that delivers electricity at a residential location, but many that supply it. So half of your bill is negotiable. Often the municipal will negotiate a rate, but you're free to shop around for other suppliers. (Usually the price only goes up though - for instance...
Good thing these forums aren't hosted on ford dot com. Probably could only handle two messages a day.
As a long time software engineer, you're giving me panic attacks. I cannot wait to see what happens when O'Henry tries! ?
