I personally don’t leave my fob in the car. I’m using the faraday in the house for my extra key that’s 15 yards from my car.

My purpose is to keep thieves from copying my key electronically and stealing my Mach. The technology is out there.

I don’t disagree with the posts above but I wanted something nicer than foil. I think it’s a nice faraday box.

Vonetti is the brand. It’s well built and the Mach key fits nicely. Because of the price I hesitated buying it, not knowing if our key fobs would fit. I have been using a Faraday pouch that sometimes works, but not always. Incase anyone else is wondering, yes it works.

you need to disconnect your 12v for 15 minutes. I had the same issue and took it to the dealer. After the first failed attempt by the dealer on the second trip they disconnected the battery. That fixed the issue…

My 3 years ends on July 4th. Thats why they called me. It seems they only do this for the people who had the 3 years deal when we bought our car. I’m not going to pay for the 5th year. It’s too expensive and I hardly use it.

Ford actually called me with the offer today. I got a call from a number I didn’t recognize and didn’t answer. They left a voicemail. low and behold it was Ford offering a free year of HFBC. I took them up on the free extra year. I hardly ever use it but they offered so I accepted it

We have two EV's and one charger. It's never been a problem for us. We don't need to charge every day and just charge when we need to. If you both drive 200 plus miles a day, then I would say get a second charger. We have a Mercedes EQS and the Mach.
