Some EVs have a locking mechanism on the charge port if doors are locked. At least mine does even if they stop the charging on the fast charger still will not disconnect without me unlocking doors.
Are you sure you are not an Internet Sales Manager lol..... Seems like I go on different forums and their are more Sales Pitches on the forum than at the Dealerships.
I swore when I read the Title of this Thread thought he was talking about Ford going to do away with Mustang. As he states in title (Car Icon) lol.......
But I have heard they are in talks of creating the Mustang Brand for continuation of selling the ICE Mustangs. Kinda like how Hyundai did the...
I drove by Kearny Pearson Ford yesterday here in San Diego looked like they had 3 Lightning on the lot. However looking at their site these are a Lariat trim and Platinum trims. but looks like they have them on a $20k mark up.
Utility Pole is fine cause can be used as firewood. But the car is totaled how ever if you own the title on it you can try to make some money off of by selling parts. Just sayin lol. Then pay to have to send it to a junkyard afterwards. EV parts are very limited right now lol.
I swore they already working on that tech. lol.... Didn't you see the info AD about the no touch charging cable or the wireless charging pad in China. Are you out of the loop...
Technically it is not tax fraud as you do become the legal owner of the car once the contract is signed. Nowhere does it state you have to drive it off the lot for it to become your vehicle. ONce the contract is signed and dated that is considered the delivery date where you take possession of...
Most all Model 3 and Ys will qualify for the tax credit. As they are built in USA and the Batteries are as well. Just the mining of resources is the downfall when that becomes a factor. So starting Jan. 1 the Model 3 and Y's will qualify for full tax credit. Ironically though the 5-Seater model...

Think of a positive now Ford will be forced to start lowering prices below the $55k MSRP if they want to continue getting the rebate/credits. Or they will not be selling as many cars as they normally were. Of course this will not deter the consumers who do not need to count on the tax credit...
Oh no Ford is charging Dealers a Mark Up and they do not like it. lol BOUT DANG time they got a taste of their own medicine.
And yes Farley is trying to kill the old Dealership model by doing this. Until Congress will change the old 1960s BILL that protected Dealerships from the Manufacturers...
Nice report. FYI if your charge is below 10% I think it will hit around 210 - 225kw charge rate up to about 12% i do believe then it will start to trickle down to the 190 range for a bit. But still that is the one thing I like about the Korean cars is the charging speeds. You will charge your...
I think I read few years ago that someone tried to insure the Bugatti and it wasn't even on the list of vehicles to insure. They said they had to put it down as a V12 Jetta or Passat to get thru the insuring part.
I started laughing lol
In the bill their is a stipulation for transition period. Which like mentioned grandfathers you into the old tax credit eligibility. Which is why a lot of EV companies were creating these purchase agreements. Hell Vinfast took a step further and said if IRS does not give the credit to you they...
