I too wait. Pet mode is very important to me. The unknowledgeable salesman from where I purchased my Ruby, assured me pet mode would be coming with future updates. Two years later, I still wait. During the first few months of ownership, our little pup was traumatized by the new cars interior...
I think the key thing is here, terminology. I had bluecruise (not hands free) which i consider lane keeper/smart cruise. So Bluecruise hands free is what I am referring to in this post. Is there more to come? Like actually auto drive to a destination?
Bluecruise turned on this weekend and I took it for a short drive on i84. It feels much like the smart cruise. When i was driving, I would position the car slightly closer to inside line, but smart cruise likes to dust the bushes on the outside line. Other than that it felt safe and...
What's not to like about the EQS except maybe the $110,000 USD price tag. Availability continues to be a problem in Oregon with nearly everything on backorder, no VW, no Audi, no Kia or Hyundai, and forget about the Genesis. My local Porsche dealership has one tycoon for $120K. BMW is taking...
Some of you may remember, that there is a common problem with the walk away feature/phone as a key, the interior alarm resets to ON regardless of the menu settings. Can anyone verify this problem has been resolved? One work around is to turn off the lock on walk away feature.
Thanks for you detailed story. I am very much thinking of going the same way. Including the GV60. Although they say they won't be available in my state for quite some time. I am satisfied with the MME, but always feels there is something just a bit better out there waiting for me. Coming...
IF......there is no one in the car, no pets, no kids, no granny's, the walk away lock will work with the car still on. BUT, there is an active INTERIOR motion sensor that is difficult to turn of. I often leave my husband in the car while i run into the grocery store....however, the motion...
I have a reservation for a Fiskar Ocean.....however, the $5,000 non-refundable deposit is a deal breaker for me.....so looking at the EQE as my next EV.
I worry about this frequently, but I have not yet done it. And watch out friends, my flap sometimes reopens if its not closed precisely. And there is no on dash warning. My old BMW i3 used to block you from releasing the park break until all flaps and doors were closed. That was annoying...
I had my windshield replaced because of rock chip, no metion of having to do anything to the pano roof or that it was a difficult windshield replacement. All went smoothly.....Except the first windshield the glass company got from ford was damaged, so i had to wait an extra day for a...
I frequently hear stories about ford dealerships being unfriendly and difficult to negotiate with, I know mine was. It's too bad, because that alone, is pushing me in other directions. I've got my eye on the EQE. Glad you hear you had a good experience with Kia. I keep hearing rumor that...
Thank you for sharing your story, I know it is hard to tell. And I appreciate your stress, in times like that, you need you technology to perform flawlessly, and it is not too much to expect. Ford needs to do better; and they will.....given time.
Blessings to you and your family during these...
We are continuing to have this alarm error where the motion sensor does not stay off and the dog triggers the alarm. We have tried multiple ways of turning it off and nothing seems to do the trick. We also tried to cover the motion sensor, but i think we covered something else because it still...
Hey JimHill; I am in the same boat with you. I'm have had mine for 8 months. And now, with the 3rd recall.; I'm out. I wanted to support ford, and I not Tesla, but the software is without doubt completely unacceptable. And yes, I have have multiple dealership software updates, and still, I...
