We bought a 2023 MME Premier Edition in November. We have never been able to get the hatch to open using a foot. I've perused quite a few posts here on this subject, but no luck. So, then I thought maybe our car doesn't have that feature. I posted a private message to Ford, which of course...
My 2021 Mach-E just passed the 3-year mark, so the bumper-to- bumper warranty has expired. Has anyone found any extended warranty plans that are specific for EVs, or even better, for Mach-E's?
I got the same message. Since I just took the car in for another problem, I asked them to look into it. If they come up with anything useful (seems unlikely but who knows), I will respond here.
That's what I thought.
With respect to the charger faults, I have a ChargePoint charger that has always worked well, but I started getting a red flashing on the button/lights next to the port when I unplugged. The dealer said the car showed a fault from the charger. Of course, it seems to...
The car is at the dealership right now, so I can't check out some of these things. If I go to AUTO mode and the temperature setting is 72 degrees, and it's cold outside, I would expect the car to turn on the heat. Are you saying I would have to manually turn on E-heat? I've never had to do...
I took my 2021 MachE to the dealer because creating a departure time was not heating the interior as it should. I did not have any good way to tell if the battery was being conditioned. (This has worked fine for about 2 years.) The dealership's service department said it was working fine for...
Here is paragraph from a document that TigerDV sent me;
"But DV claims can be made at any time within your state's Statute of Limitations
for Property Damage. In most cases, it's a surprisingly long time. I live in Nevada
and for me it's three (3) years. And in most states, you don't even need...
I was in an accident on May 3, 2022 where the other driver was at fault. I had seen "diminished value" discussed some here. I have filed a claim and have now received payment, so I thought I would summarize how it went.
Here is a picture of my car (2021 AWD, standard batter) after the...
When the service person read 22B10 to me last week, it indicated that if you have bought a fob, they are supposed to refund the cost of that one, plus tax.
I finally got my MME back after my accident on May 3! Here is a picture of the car just after the accident.
I was concerned that the car would be totaled which would mean having to order another and wait a long time. However, it turned out that the main battery was fine. The total cost of...
This looks very similar to the damage my car sustained. It took 5 months and $20,000 worth of repairs, but I have it back in pretty good shape. If your main battery is damaged then it's probably totaled. I have also filed a diminished value claim. I will try to post pictures and more details...
I know what you mean. There's a 20kW charger at the Harley dealership that I used last year on a trip from Colorado to San Antonio, but that's as close as anything gets in Lubbock to "fast". I wonder why there are no fast chargers in Lubbock. Seems strange.
When you say "fully loaded" are you including prorated fixed costs? If so, that's not a legitimate comparison. You will pay the fixed costs even if you don't use any energy. If not, please explain. Thanks
