A great question. I had a recall done recently at the dealer and just don't feel 100% confident it was actually completed. I guess this is the modern version of wanting them to give me back all the parts that were replaced, but sadly there's nothing to give back, so it's hard to verify what...
My comment about 90 days was really just a way of trying to ask why when, I JUST had the dealer update that module per the recall, it's not showing on my Ford page that it was completed. I mean after all, it's a software update.
Just last week I had the dealer update the 12 Volt battery fix. But when I log into my account, it says I've had no updates in the last 90 days. Is this normal?
Also, I've had a few times where I had to push the button to open the door multiple times. So hopefully they'll push DCMX-25.AD...
I just don’t know. They were fantastic at the beginning. Other than the foam issue, because the OEms didn’t have the foam, they are exhibiting the same howl after 20k as the oems did, albeit about half as loud. Treadware is as expected. Not great. Not bad. Normal. No issues with traction...
OK. Yet another update. First. I loved the tires in the beginning Now they howl almost as bad as the OEM's did. The car has been aligned twice since I got the new tires. I don't go off road or drive like a maniac over bumps or RR tracks, etc.
When the dealer first had major problems...
Another follow up. One of the tires has become virtually unbalanceable. I had a road force balancing done, which was recommended by my dealer. They had to put an ungodly amount of weight on it to get it close. The rim was fine by itself. I'm going to replace the tire with a new one and...
I have a feeling it's the latter here since it melted down right after the supposed software update.
UPDATE!! I just took a short 20 mile trip, without changing any of the typical ACC settings and it worked perfectly normal. Strange.
Did you ever figure out what this is? I had mine at the dealer yesterday for 60K service. So tire rotation, etc. Plus I had a software recall and seat belt recall. Almost immediately after I set adaptive cruise control per usual, it said it was unavailable and to see service soon. But it...
It still sucks that they took away the ability to route plan in the app. I just did a round trip from Northern MO to Savannah, GA. I'd hate to have to sit in my car and plan that trip. So I just used PlugShare. I know. I know. A lot like ABRP better. To each their own, but they should...
Just to follow up. We made it through the winter, with a handful of snows (two or three over 6", I know that's not HEAVY) with no issues. In fact the very LAST snow we had we got stuck out in near white out conditions with temp vacillating between 31 and 33, with wet/slush pavement, sometimes...
