I mainly charge at home; two times I’ve charged away from home in the 14 months I’ve owned my 2022 Premium eAWD which means I have no good sense as to how to use the various apps to help you find chargers. I'm low on battery but staying here for the weekend so not a rush. Any reasonably priced...
The dealership I ordered my car through was sold the week before my car arrived (11 months after I ordered it lol). The "new" dealership did NOT have a fast charger and I picked up my car at an out of state dealership with less than 50% charge faced with a 250 mile drive home for my first drive...
The writer's premise seems accurate but there is NO factual backup for what his premise, just opinion. Do we know that the "crowds" at chargers are actually people who have home chargers but want to save money? Without some sort of research into "why" particular EVs are charging at a specific...
Here on LI, PSEG has program with lower overnight (11 pm to 6 am) if you choose to do so. Costs overnight are 14.5 cents per kwh. I've no clue about NYC though. In general, here on LI we always figured Con Ed was a better deal then Lilco/LIPA/PSEG et al through the years.
So, like many of us here, I ordered a LOONG time ago (Nov 17, 2021) and my car was built 8/24/22 and am hoping to get it in a couple of weeks and now I'm focused on financing. I read much of this 26 page thread and found the autobytel reference...
I'm waiting on my Premium E-AWD so I have no experience with charging, but based on your statement that you took a breakfast break after a little more than 2 hours and the charge took 28 minutes to get back to 80%; seems like your car can drive a little more than hour for every 14 minutes...
Could be stupid suggestion, but can't you attach to the tow points from UNDER the car from the back with some sort of "guide" to keep cable/straps from damaging bottom of car? At least to get it out of garage and driveway.
I've got same specs and order date...what are the odds? I'm on Long Island but ordered through Maryland dealer. I didn't get an email but heard direct from dealer during my monthly call to get a status update. I have confirmed the info with Ford and got a VIN from them. REALLY looking...
Some of these types of unfolding issues relieve some of the sting from being 6 months from ordering with no word from Ford. With a little luck, Ford will have come up with a perm fix to this problem by the time my car gets built and delivered. Premium AWD order 11/17/2021
I've owned several white cars; they "hide" dirt MUCH better than dark cars. No idea on how well Red cars handle the time between washes. I believe Silver is best for looking clean the longest.
Love your work on the outside; not sure on inside but pictures don't necessarily do it justice. What I am amazed at is taking an already beautiful SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLAR car and "playing" with the outside. I don't have the balls for that. I have zero skill with anything to do with what you've...
I ordered same (Premium ER AWD) 11/17 from dealer in MD; no word yet. Kind of excited to see someone who ordered within a week has a "build date". Also want to repeat the request of others for some photos; would love to see Ice White Package actually delivered.
I live in Metro NY on Long Island; there are NUMEROUS places (especially BJs and Costco) where it's easy to see pumps handle over 10 cars per hour. My Premium ER AWD is just a gleam in my eye since my 11/17/2021 order was submitted so I don't have any experience with electric chargers.
Travman; I've same order date and my model is same or similar (Premium AWD ER). Nevermind no production date, zero 'non generic' communication from Ford. Got the "your model has been changed" email that seems to be common but no details on "changed".
For OP, IMO, unless supply chain issues...
I ordered my Premium ER AWD mid November. I read the same reddit stuff and I'm clueless as to the real problems Ford is experiencing and am hopeful for my June delivery (based on the published 28 week timeframe) so by that you can tell I live in my own fantasy world. I'd like to get the...
Then add those other parameters to the "report"; I readily admit I have no clue as to how my order is going to make it's way to the factory, but I'd like to see how/when today's delivered vehicles were entered to get a better idea as to when MY order is going to be built. Obviously an order...
I FULLY get your response. However, in my fairy tale world I'd like to hear when today's newly built Mach E Premium order was originally entered. I'd like to hear that every day so you can get a "live" view of the real "order to assembly line" number. After reading some posts, I'd also like...
