Order + wait time gripe/complaint/vent

I live in northern VA and ordered my AWD extended range premium mach e on 7/12/2020 and have 0 updates from Ford on delivery or production (besides the swap from 21 to 22 MY). I'm DYING waiting for an update.

I'm sure I'm not alone here. Right? Are others in the same boat? I had the option back in July of buying a test driven model from Missouri for MSRP but figured I could manage to wait for a brand new one in the color I wanted. Trying to not regret that decision is getting harder each week.

Please help console my aching heart lol

Could be worse. For instance, having a 1/3-1/9 delivery ETA on a 21 in 22 when you ordered on 4/27/21. That’s my situation.

Glad I'm not alone. I don't frequent this forum often and didn't see that thread. Sucks Ford has no better way to give us an idea on delivery timelines

My original delivery date of 11/21-11/27 changed on 12/3. The car is 29 mi from my dealer on ‘quality hold.’

Order accepted 4/20/21, schedule 10/18/21, built/shipped on 11/18/21, arrived KC 11/29, sitting on Flat car in Minot, ND 12/11/21 heading to WA. May be here by Christmas. Heard from Ford on 10/18 and 11/18 via email. Just hope it arrives in good condition.

Yes, waiting sucks and yes ford is horrible at communication, but what "information" do you want at this point? Are you expecting them to send you "Nope, your car isn't scheduled yet because there are still lots of people who ordered ahead of you whose cars aren't built yet"?

Yes, that thread was very helpful to me. OP, definitely look at that. I was frustrated that my February order didn't arrive until November, while many people who ordered months after me got theirs months before me. People on that thread were super nice and super helpful.

I FULLY get your response. However, in my fairy tale world I'd like to hear when today's newly built Mach E Premium order was originally entered. I'd like to hear that every day so you can get a "live" view of the real "order to assembly line" number. After reading some posts, I'd also like to know when the Premium ER AWD that was delivered today was actually ordered. Again, I'd like that number updated daily. This is definitely something that can be updated but isn't.

I mean, anything would be better than silence. "250 cars ahead of yours", "estimated production date of X", "you can expect your car before X"

Just seeing "order accepted" after 5 months feels like I could just be lost in the system. I know I'm not but imagine ordering anything else off the internet and not hearing back for months about it's status
