Current Order Wait Time?

What is the wait time for current orders? My '21 GT was just totaled, and I'm trying to decide whether to order a new one or buy one off a dealer lot.

Details:
I am eligible for "A" plan pricing, which my local dealer will honor on an order.
There are two dealers I could find in my area with cars on the lot that match my desired spec (white GT, non-performance). Neither of those dealers is willing to honor "A" plan pricing.

Thoughts:
I am trying to decide between ordering one and getting the "A" plan discount, but likely missing out on $3750 of the tax credit, or just buying one off the lot tomorrow without the "A" plan discount, but hopefully qualifying for the full tax credit. If the money is more or less a wash, clearly I'd rather have a car tomorrow than in a few months. Am I missing anything?

I'd buy one off the lot today if you qualify for the credit, A plan discount isn't that much. The wait time will be until summerish for sure

You are missing that you need to widen your search. Cars.com shows 39 white ones. Some are clearly GT only. A-Plan discount is 4% plus $275, $75 max paperwork fee.

There is a similar thread below. Ford.com is showing 6-8 weeks for GT orders, but seems very suspect based on past history. Order times for Selects and Premiums have greatly improved but are blocked now. Maybe there is a big push to get GTs out. Depends if you can find exactly what you want on at a dealer somewhere.

And there is the long awaited "clarification" from Treasury regarding battery material sourcing which will have an impact on the amount of EV tax credit one can claim.

That was the issue when I got mine, only white and blue ones available everywhere. I only wanted a black on black
