I heard sunrise is the number 2 dealer in LA in terms of allocation, I'm surprised you don't have a build date yet. I'd really ask the dealership for some info especially yours as a SR model there should be a build week assignment. Are you a MY22? Or MY21

The problem is your “spot in line” is only loosely based on when you ordered. It’s also based on your trim and your location and your dealer. Some people that ordered 2 months after me already have their cars, and people that ordered a month before me aren’t even scheduled for production.

For instance, Ford likely allocates some percentage to states with ZEV mandates like California (as do other EV companies). That makes getting one in the Midwest frustrating because we have no EV mandates, so our priority may be lower for allocations.

Then add those other parameters to the "report"; I readily admit I have no clue as to how my order is going to make it's way to the factory, but I'd like to see how/when today's delivered vehicles were entered to get a better idea as to when MY order is going to be built. Obviously an order being delivered today is could have a much different timeframe than an order placed today, but it a more transparent process would enable some comfort knowing there is a method.

I live in northern VA and ordered my AWD extended range premium mach e on 7/12/2020 and have 0 updates from Ford on delivery or production (besides the swap from 21 to 22 MY). I'm DYING waiting for an update.

I'm sure I'm not alone here. Right? Are others in the same boat? I had the option back in July of buying a test driven model from Missouri for MSRP but figured I could manage to wait for a brand new one in the color I wanted. Trying to not regret that decision is getting harder each week.

I ordered one day after you (7/13/21) and have a build date of 1/10/22. No other info from Ford. Do you at least have a build date yet?

I logged into the Ford website in mid-October and saw my vehicle was scheduled for production 12/20. I received an email 11/1 with a VIN and a new production date of 1/3. It has since slipped to 1/10 without any further notification from Ford.

Ordered 06/19/21 Premium AWD extended Battery and nothing. Ford sent an email switching to a 22 in Oct. As of 12/18 not even a vin or schedule date. When I ordered the quote was 22 weeks on Ford website. Call the dealer and they say they are waiting for Ford to schedule. Call Ford and they can tell you absolutely nothing. Frustrating.
