Fair point. I use a Pixel phone so the built in Android Automotive is much better than the screen mirroring that is Android Auto (or car play for that matter).
Premium Luxury AWD. Coastal Blue Color is pretty nice. Not as much power as the Mach E, but the AWD model has sufficient power. Cadillac has great short term lease programs on their loaners, so I got one to hold me over for 2 years until the BMW iX3. I want at least one year of BMW bug testing...
4 year options lease just ended. Loved every minute of the car. Onto a Cadillac Optiq.
If Ford spends a few $ on a faster processor I may be back in a few years. Imagine good tech and good driving dynamics!
Thanks for all the help from this group over the years.
Resurrecting an old thread as I am also wondering. If you are an Android user, the GM's with Google built-in ("Android Automotive") should pretty much make up for the loss of "Android Auto". Perhaps you need to pay for some data services for the car instead of relying on your phones data plan?
Google maps + the Android Auto interface is rather limited so it does not get too crowded with functionality. You probably need to do this on your phone.
Are you referring to the small crack that develops for many Mach E users above the outside door open button? If so, was it covered under warranty? I have that crack and would hate to be docked on lease return because of it.
