Just hit 35,000 miles this morning; staring down the end of my factory warranty.

No major issues so far - I had some glitching on the main screen, but not in a long time. I had the outside pillars replaced due to minor crack around the open button.

Anything else I should be looking for while I still have a warranty?

Am at over 109,000 miles in 44mths and only ever had the dreaded park brake harness failures and a clicking noise from rear wheel bearings under warranty.

Right rear door handle faulted after warranty ended but the goodwill I built up having it serviced on time at Ford dealer meant I got a good contribution.

Otherwise, Stangy’s been a good ‘un?

Just updated the stats.

At 109,196 miles my stats show a saving of £7,881.85 over an ICE doing 40mpg at UK fuel prices

Used 38,347.64kWh costing £10,679.77.

580 home charges cost £4,755.73 for 28,967kWh
322 DCFC charges cost £5,924.04 for 9,380.11kWh

Still an amazing car.

Drives well, works like a horse.

HVB still reading 93% SoH.

Because most of its use is on business mileage I can make a change for, and car’s worth £13.5k trade I’m in profit by about £5000 at the minute.

This car is just a win win win?

Are you referring to the small crack that develops for many Mach E users above the outside door open button? If so, was it covered under warranty? I have that crack and would hate to be docked on lease return because of it.

Look for an extended warranty ASAP. :cwl: Too many electronics and displays and will be expensive to replace out of warranty.
Ugh. I've never paid for an extended warranty on anything I've purchased - cars, apple care, etc.

But I've been thinking about it with this car; don't think I'll do it though.

For fun I looked at my door panel yesterday. I think I may have a very fine vertical hairline fracture above the button on the driver door. I would not have noticed this if I had not read this thread.

Does this typically get worse? I feel like Ford would scoff at what I see?
