- Replaced the splined bolts that attach the front struts to the wheel knuckles with regular bolts (and painted them black). This gives some adjustment when tightening the bolts to add a bit more negative camber. Replaced OEM front and rear sway bars with Eibach bars. Have the front bar set on the max setting. Replaced OEM springs with Eibach Pro-Kit GT lowering springs. Replaced OEM strut tower bar with the 3-point Steeda bar.
- MODS - WHEELS / TIRES / BRAKES
-
Painted the light gray area on the hat of the rotors plus the dust shields satin black so they wouldn't stand out so much behind the open designed black wheels.
Changed out the OEM wheels with Signature Precision Series SV706 fully forged gloss black wheels. I have a staggered setup: 20"x9" ET33 up front and 20"x10.5" ET47 in the rear. The Signature wheels are about 8 lbs. lighter each than the OEM wheels. My summer tires of choice are Michelin Pilot Sport 4 NO Acoustic (Porsche spec) 275/40/20 front, 315/35/20 rear. These tires being much wider than the OEM's are heavier but overall with the lighter wheels, I saved a total of 12 lbs unsprung weight on this summer setup.
Winter setup: We rarely get snow and if we do it's just a light dusting but our temps are in the lower 30's a lot during the winter with occasional upper 20's so I can't run the Michelin summer's as anything below 45˚ they start to turn into hockey pucks. I change them out for Pirelli P Zero All Season EV (BMW spec) tires. Size up front is 255/45/20 and 285/40/20 in the rear. They are a little narrower than the Michelin's and lighter by 10 lbs overall so total unsprung weight saved on this winter setup is 22 lbs over the OEM tires and wheels.
Edit: Aug 4, 2022 changed out my wheels for a new set. Same Signature SV706 fully forged in gloss black but with a polished aluminum face (they call it diamond cut). Most wheels you see are a flat design and I wanted something a bit different so ordered these in medium concave. Same wheel specs as the previous ones.

- HISTORY, STORY, EXPERIENCE, COMMENTS
- Several of the mods I listed above I first did on my Mach-E Premium and took quite a few photos. When I did the same mods on this car I didn't take many photos at all since they would be just the same. You can see more photos on my Mach-E Premium Showcase https://www.macheforum.com/site/showcase/marks-mach-e-premium-4x.63/
