recall

  1. Can't seem to update

There is an update regarding powertrain recall and I can't install it. My battery is 85% and have it plugged in. It has failed for a few days now. Other updates had "update now" button, but it's missing for this update.
  2. Ford dealership repair cause more issues than the original repair.

I have a mustang MachE 2023 premium. Took it to the nearest Ford dealership for a paint repair that Ford approved since it seems like it was part of a recall. It took them about a week exactly. When I picked up the car and I got in to leave I noticed my windshield tint was gone. They failed to...
  3. Is there a way to check a software recall is actually done? E.g. 25C69

Hi, I posted the below at Reddit and some users suggested I may find help here. I had the integrated park module appear in my ford account and got a mailed letter in mid February. I had the headlight module recall done at the dealership on Feb 2 and that paperwork said 25C69 was also...
  4. Completed Powertrain Control Module Recall at home

For anyone putting off this recall, I was able to get a Ford Mobile Service appointment and they came out and completed the recall right in my driveway. It was very easy and no cost as expected. The whole thing took 30 minutes start to finish. Figured I’d share for any curious minds.

  6. Rentals during recall service -- what loaner / rental did you get?

Hey guys, Excited to finally join the Mach-E family. Got a great deal on a 2021 Premium AWD Extended Range. Car only has 20k miles and we were able to get the car for $21k with the used EV tax credit. Here comes the fun part - the car has 7 recalls. Brought it to our local Ford dealership who...
  7. Shout out to a Ford Dealership providing Service the Right Way

We see a lot of negatives on this forum – many of them deservedly so. But I had a positive experience recently and want to highlight my dealer. I received the notice that my parts were ready for my HVBJB recall (23S56) repair from Ford Corporate with instructions to call a dealer to schedule...
  8. Outdated Software for Recall Repair

Curious to know if anyone else had this issue today. Was scheduled for a HVBJB repair and received a call 10 minutes before my appointment stating that they will not be able to do the work due to their “recall software” being out of date. Anyone else have this repair scheduled for today and had...
  9. HVBJB recall work halted.

Took my 2022 GT in to have the 23S56 HVBJB recall done. Just got a call from the dealer (2 days in) saying that Ford has issued a stop work on the recall. At least they put it back together and I can get it back until the stop is lifted.
  10. No replacement windshields currently available... watch out. Currently approaching week 3 at dealership.

So, I took my 2021 in for the HVBJB recall (also a few other things, including replacing the buzzing instrument panel). I decided to bite the bullet and ask about the glass recall/reseal. I had some trepidation about even performing this one, after 3 years of driving the thing it no longer...
  11. Issues getting HVBJB recall done

Hi everyone. Is anyone having issues in getting their HVBJB recall done in Canada? I live in BC and I had an scheduled service appointment in a dealership in New Westminster. 12. UK HVBJB recall - finally!

Just received this letter from Ford advising they will be replacing my HVBJB once parts become available. I’ve not had a failure yet so really pleased they are now being proactive. It’s one thing that worried me about doing any long European journeys.
  13. Recall service

I’m sorry if this has been asked but I am in a bit of a rush. I made an appointment to bring my 2022 Rte 66 car in this morning for the recalls after they called me twice, emailed me and mailed me. I am also ready for my 10,000 mile (nothing?) service? I made the appointment and asked if I...

  15. BlueCruise recall...could this bring 1.2 to earlier cars?

Just brought my '21 MME in for its 20k service. The guy at the service desk told me a BlueCruise recall was showing up for my car, but it wasn't available yet. He didn't have any more information about it. Does anyone with FDRS know if this could be the BlueCruise 1.2 update? I realize it could...
  16. Goodbye Ford

I have owned 3 Explorers in my life, some amazingly reliable, some less than reliable. Knew what I was getting into with a Mach-E First year, Job 1 2021 - purchased June 2021. Like everyone else on this forum I started getting 'Adaptive Cruise Not Available' after a slight bump for a few...
  17. I got the power-up that handles 22S41, but FordPass still says that 22S41 is incomplete

Has anyone else seen this? On August 13, the update was applied that handles 22S41 (see screenshot). But FordPass still says that the SS241 recall is incomplete. Is this just the sort of thing where this takes time to clear up? Or should I get this addressed at the dealer (which I am a little...
  18. Pre-Collision Assist Not Available….and all that mess.

So, I got this message back in early July and it had been intermittent and then suddenly, it came to stay for good. I’ve researched it to death so I know it’s a known issue, I’ve gotten lots of good info off various threads in various forums….my problem is actually getting it in for service. I...
  19. Dealer Update for 22S41 Recall
