At about 2,500 miles got "Charge Fault" on the Ford app while doing a slow charge at 110 volt AC. Could not charge or move the Mach E. Dealer has worked with Detroit on the problem and will replace the entire 100 kwh battery. Has this problem been reported and any special precautions I need to take once repaired?

Yes, there have been a few complete replacements noted here for various faults. You may run into issues with your dealer not being to perform the repair due to lack of training or specialized tools on hand, such as the battery lift. You should be proactive with your service manager about this since many don't realize what's actually involved with the swap.

After the swap, please make sure you drive and charge your car every day or two for several weeks so the cells can become fully balanced.
