12 Volt Battery Alert

Last evening the 12 volt battery alert appeared on the dash. Car was immobile. This morning it’s gone. What gives? Should I take it in or?

To be frank, yes (sorry, I just can't pass up the opportunity for a pun)!

I would at least have it checked out. A 2025 is a bit early for a 12v battery issue, but it is possible that you have a defect in the battery.

It was working this morning so I took it in. No problems detected.

Weird. Service rep asked me to take a photo if it happens again.

My 2021 Mach E premium 12V went out after 31 months. On a cold day it said something about battery too low for heat and no heat. FORD supposedly did a BMS software update to extend the 12V life.

Wow. So did mine. Actually I was pre-emotive replaced it using Ford points. I was getting the 12v battery alert soon after I got the vehicle newcomer ‘21. Haven’t seen that error after 3 mos in my ‘25 MME GT.
