2.1.0 failure in widget app on car already on 2.8.3 with BC working well.

Something weird with OTA on FordPass widget app.

My car has been on a 1.7.1 failure for several months. After the dealer did the TSB 22-2117, the message your system is up to date was displayed. But I had all the specs as if the car was 2.3.0

Like many, in the last few weeks I received via OTA all the updates for the Blue Cruise up to 2.8.3. The BC works perfectly.

Since last week, the Widget no longer worked. Tonight I update it and work again.

But in the OTA section, it tells me that on June 30 there was a failure of 2.1.0!!!

Anyone else have this?

Is this a new OTA issue or just a bug with the Widget?

The widget you’re referring to is not a Ford product. It’s had issues recently as Ford’s security protocols for FordPass and Ford customer accounts has changed. You might want to ask this question in the appropriate thread, either the Android or iPhone threads, you’re more likely to get a wider, knowledgeable audience there.
