I took delivery of my premium Extended range AWD over a 2months ago, and now that have a few miles on it I thought I would share my personal observations and may get a few tips and tricks back in return.

I paid Xplan with no dealer or document fee, Ordered in December, and took delivery in October in Nebraska. Prior to ordering, I drove a Tesla 3 and a Y, although the Tesla looked better on paper, the test drives made the difference. And MME seemd to ride better

Overall I am very pleased with the car. And very happy with my decision. The ride and hadleing is outstanding, and I have had no issues, but have not used a DCFC yet. My complaints I feel are all minor. The biggest problem is a personal range anxiety that I need to get over.
  • The backup beep, beep, beep. I wish there was a way to turn it off.
  • Full size adults have issues getting in the back seat
  • The full manual is only online, I would prefer a paper copy
  • They eliminated the foot open of the rear hatch anf fail to compensate for it
  • Getting to the rear hatch release is too many steps, it should be more obvious
  • The loss of range in the cold iw really bad, in my case it is over 30%. As a test I went to 100% last night, and only got to 190 miles on the guessometer.

  • The backup beep, beep, beep. I wish there was a way to turn it off. Can't on any car, required by law.
  • Full size adults have issues getting in the back seat
  • The full manual is only online, I would prefer a paper copy Not unique to Mach-E. You can download a PDF from owner.ford.com, put it on every device, and even print it out.
  • They eliminated the foot open of the rear hatch and fail to compensate for it And took it out of the buying guide, and it's not listed as a feature. Many 2022s have it though and you can turn it on via FORScan.
  • Getting to the rear hatch release is too many steps, it should be more obvious Upcoming UI will change that.
  • The loss of range in the cold iw really bad, in my case it is over 30%. As a test I went to 100% last night, and only got to 190 miles on the guessometer. Guess-O-Meter is only a guess. Take battery size times current miles per kilowatt and that's your best estimate, which may or may not be different.

I recently saw the tested range loss on various EVs at 32 degrees F and the MME was 30%, as you experienced. Many of the EVs just had estimates and were more like 15%, as you might expect from an overly optimistic manufacturer.
