I'm not trying to start a controversy, but I used to drive 40,000 miles annually, so I know what it takes to put that level of mileage on a vehicle. I didn't drive for employment, it was just my daily commute. I was just curious.

As I said earlier, the tire pressure readings made me suspicious.

I also used to drive over 40K/year, and only 25K of that was my commute. It does not take too many cross-country trips to add up to the difference. My high point was 9K in 28 days. That was a trip to Alaska in February. (And we were not driving every day of that trip) Also, I have taken trips where the drive was the intent.

I have a 2021 UK MME and the recommended pressures are not all 29 psi. The plate details 35 at the front and 41 at the rear for all tyre types.

Too lazy to walk downstairs to take a picture at the moment, but recommendations for my '21 US Premium eRWD are 39psi/2.7 bar in all 4 tires. Seems the Europeans take this to the next level of over thinking.
