2023 Ordering?

I asked and the dealer said they are only accepting 2023 Mach E orders in person.

The other dealer in town said they are fine with online but they heard it was October.

My guess is that dealers know how many allocations they expect and this one in particular is saving theirs for in person ordering? I guess we will see if the online portal opens tomorrow.

Having shopped for a few cars in the past year it seems like most in my area are adding this stuff. The two dealers I spoke to used to be at MSRP but now are adding this package.

Just to throw a comment in, my dealer just reached out to me and said I could go in to place an order tomorrow. It was just a text and an email.

With my car being damaged in shipping, I've been on the phone with my dealer and Ford for quite a bit of time today. No one confirmed the 25th when I mentioned it and the dealer said they hadn't had that confirmed with them yet. I've had a different dealer reach out about the 25th a few weeks ago though. Sounds like it's still not set in stone. Maybe they're trying to figure out the remaining orders and when they want to start building 23s to open it up. Or maybe it's tomorrow morning.

The dealership I work for did not get an official word from Ford on a date…

I've talked to my local Ford dealer where I bought my Mustang Mach e and the one in the next County which is a lot bigger and neither of them have heard anything.

Order bank supposed to open tomorrow. Anybody have any insights? I've not seen an order guide, pricing, nada. Heck, I don't even know if I'm supposed to reserve on-line and elect a dealer or go see a dealer.

Anybody have any insights?

Today is Aug. 25th. Another talked about date missed by Ford. Has anyone heard what is the next order target date for the Ford Mach E?

Or is it just not yet? Maybe 9am est when dealerships open? IDK... But I have a feeling it's def not going to happen to today or anytime soon to be honest, there were 2 days the 15th and the 25th both passed and nothing so far..

Tbh this is when I expected it would go live (7 or 8 ET). Didn’t anticipate a midnight launch, but I’ve never tried to buy a car on launch day before ??‍
