Went from MN to Kentucky to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter with the whole family, great trip. Couple free charges so worked out to around 37mpg figuring $3 gas. Not every 480hp car will do that. Almost all tesla chargers on the plan. We were planning on 2 day return trip, but an issue came up at home so decided to drive it in one day. 935 miles, easier since you're not "driving" most of the way, my bride didn't drive a mile. Just a couple of old duffers, didn't get an early start so didn't get home till 1am. Not every car you could spend that much butt time in in a day. It'd have been a struggle without the tesla chargers. Again, always wonder how it works to put in chargers that cost 65 cents and more/kw (my car 10-13 mpg) and nobody is going to use them unless they get stranded and don't have a choice.

When I first got my Mach E there were almost no L3 chargers in KY except for Tesla. Now we have a EA charger with 8 plugs in Louisville, and access to al the Tesla chargers. I half to take the Mach E to my lake house this spring because my truck was in the shop for repairs from a hail storm. It is a 200 mile round trip which can be challenging in a GTPE, but there was a Tesla chargers in Elizabethtown at a Subway. I wanted to get get a 10% charger just to make sure I get home. I plugged in, got a sandwich, but he time I came out 10 minutes later, I added 22%. Access to the Tesla chargers is a game changer.
