I have several route planners on my Pixel phone. I use wireless android auto religiously. Well, yesterday I went to my main MMEGT display to see what apps that AA brings over. REally the first time that I've dug deep in to what is available thru AA. I clicked on ABRP (A better route planner) with curiousity. The app pops up w/ instructions to sign in to premium account on phone. Huh? So I go back to my phone but the normal app pops up ready to use. However, while I can input in to ABRP on the phone, the ABRP on the MME display remains. I've tried everything to remove it from the display including opening every other app on AA to try to override it. The ABRP stubbornly remains on the screen with the instruction to sign in to premium accnt on phone. So, I go to try to close the app on the phone - maybe that will close the display screen. Well, It does momentarily - the app closes on the phone and then closes on the display but about 3 secs after, the app opens again on the phone and then again on display with the same message. Repeated forced closure on app many times with the same result!!! HS! I'm pissed. The only way to stop the whole thing was to uninstall the app. I have yet to reinstall but will do soon but, has anyone had any such experience with ABRP or for that matter, any other app?
