I'm not convinced Rivian is the most stable funding source yet.

The other concern is that Rivian made their "Adventure Network" a Rivian-only resource. Will ABRP follow?

First, Rivian has said many times that the RAN network will be open to all EVs.

Second, they have also said that ABRP will continue to be for all EV owners. 1/2 of the company they acquired is based on backend data for other parties. They aren't going to lop off the majority of revenue.

Third, according to the ABRP internal slack channel, ABRP employees are stoked about this buyout and Rivian has already greatly helped them improve the app specifically in the area of planning routes at low SOC.
