ABRP now supports live data via Android Auto

I am going to try this tomorrow, but I just got a notice about ABRP 6.0 retrieving live data via Android Auto. I switched over to Google Maps when they rolled out Android Auto integration because I always had some intermittent problems dealing with live data using a Bluetooth BLE dongle. Hopefully it will give me another good option for planning roadtrips.

I tried it out today and it was easy. I did not have to change any ABRP settings and ABRP configured Android Auto live data automagically. It works good.

I'm curious how ABRP compares to Google Maps now that both can access the vehicle now and plan charging stops.

Here's my take. ABRP lets me plan my trip in advance on my desktop computer, save it, and then open it on my phone. Android Auto with Google Maps doesn't let me do that (at least when I've tried).

I found during a trip in late January that Android Auto with Google Maps was harder to use. "No, I want to go to THIS charger".
