Activation Denied!

I’m taking this as a good sign! The activate button went live on my FordPass app about a week ago, so of course, I pressed it. I just got a message “Activation Denied”. Either activation requests time out after a long while (probable answer) or they are getting ready to move my car to the slow train to Sâo Paulo, then flown to Cape Town, then trucked to Cairo, then shipped to Istanbul, then trucked to Goa, then loaded on a freighter to Singapore, then trans-shipped to Hong Kong, then sent on to Shanghai where its air freighted with the first batch of iPhone 15s to ANK, then trucked down to Speedway for “quality checks”, then sent on to New Castle DE and loaded on a car carrier to my dealer with all the MY 2027 Mustang Mach Es ?????

Ok, got the FordPass app with my F250 on it, added the Mach e ...what activate button? And on what screen?

Nevermind...duh, forced stopped the app, restarted and I have it now ?‍

You can enter your vehicle in Ford Pass with the VIN, prior to actually having the MME. Most scan the door bar code. You must have the vehicle to complete and activate Ford Pass. Then you can take advantage of the Ford Pass features

For me it was a good sign. I pressed the activation button in FordPass in December (my build was mid-November). The prompt inside the car just sat there until early January, when I received a “access denied” message on FordPass.
The next day my Mach-e’s status changed from in production to in transit. I interpreted this to mean after a month of just sitting there, someone finally entered the vehicle (to prepare for shipping), an pressed the access denied button on the screen.

I’ll bet it times out faster than that.

The activation cannot work while the car is in transport mode. So even if somebody is moving the car, he probably wouldn’t see the activation message.
