Has anyone replaced their fugly 19" aero wheels with regular ones and if so did your range take a hit?

I've read everything from they do nothing to they make a big difference.

Wheels are the only explanation for the 10 mile range difference between the Gt and GTPE.

But that’s only a 4% change.

Do you find yourself running out of range currently? Are you worried about a 4% increase in electricity costs?

If not, life is too short to have ugly wheels.

Ugly wheels and abysmal tires mean I'm looking at 20" with wider 245 section tires instead of 225. I know the additional width will impact things, just didn't know how much the aero design actually affects things.

The GT has nearly the same advertised range as the Premium, having P245 tires vs. the Premium’s P225 tires. If you get the proper width wheel for the tire, you shouldn’t take much of a range hit. ??

My Blazer actually gets better highway mileage with 12.50” tires on it than it did with 11.50” tires because I went to 10” rims with the wider tires vs. the 8.5” rims on the narrower ones. The wider rim made it necessary to inflate the tires a little more in order to obtain a correct contact profile. ??
