Does using Android Auto effect the sound coming out of the speakers in the premium?

Is it specific to media or phone audio?

Maybe it's some kinda cognitive bias but BT audio sounds better (fuller, louder) than wireless AA to me.

I notice no difference, not only in wired or wireless, but between my Pixel 6a and my iphone XR. I prefer my Pixel as a user, but it was horrible at connecting to the car, both PAAK and AA. The iphone connects perfectly every time (so far), so no more fiddling with getting the car to unlock, car started, and then getting it to connect to AA. Also, too many problems with my pixel with people calling and then they can't hear me unless I go to the phone speaker and back to the car. Again, the iphone I've had zero issues. Maybe these are all Pixel specific issues, dunno.

Personally I noticed that Spotify sounds better than Pandora.

I can concur this with a previous phone a pixel 7 pro the Bluetooth was crap. It usually required a physical cable connection for AA to work. I switched to a Samsung Fold 4 and it's flawless.

I have a fold4 and so far no connection issues. Just wondering because Sirius radio sounds tinny, while they seem to have sounded better in my 2020 escape that I traded in.

Assume you already have, but the sound was very tinny in mine as well, so adjusted the audio EQ for more mid and bass, and it's better, although not nearly as impressive as the B&O system should be. It's not terrible, but definitely not impressed with the audio, and the BO system in the little Ford EcoSport sounded so much better. Hell, even the Sony system in my 2010 F150 with the stock sub sounds better.

Have you tried other music/ sound apps ? That would establish if it's AA or Sirius issue. I use Tidal and YouTube Music and they both sound great

I had a Fold4 and switched to the Pixel Fold...seems way more seamless. Had more issues on the Fold4. I was a bit nervous to just use PAAK after I got the Pixel Fold, but so far no issues at all. The only thing I noticed is if my car sits untouched for like 3 days, I have to open the app and maybe unlock the door from the app. Then it works perfect. But I'm assuming most people don't leave the car for days.

I also switched from the Fold 4 to the pixel fold. My phone before the fold 4 was a pixel 7 pro. The pixel fold works flawlessly but so did my Fold 4, the pixel 7 would not wirelessly connect it required being plugged in for AA.
