Android Auto/carplay hard stutter

Recently I've noticed any switch from sync screens to phone projection causes a hard stutter. Like music pausing for 2 seconds hard. I know this has been mentioned before here but it's kind of ridiculous. Is this happening to many owners? If so, is Ford aware?

Yes, it's the same for everyone starting since the SYNC refresh.

I'm sure Ford knows since they read the forum and they drive their own vehicles.
