Update - performing a task (specifically, locking the doors) from FordPass has allowed both the main screen and charging session pages to update with the actual charge level.

I deactivated my profile in the car settings, then restarted FordPass, and I even tried restarting my phone, but this has not fixed the issue for me.

To be clear, the car does communicate partially with the app. For example, I can typically get my current odometer and SOC if I do a swipe down refresh. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries. I can also use the app to lock / unlock / open liftgate. And, the app tells me every time my car locks upon walk away.

What I don’t get is any sort of notification when I plug in - whether at home or in public - or any sort of active charging status, or any ability to push charge schedule changes from the app to the car.

I don’t think this is a home wifi issue because it doesn’t work in public either. And I’m plugging in at a place with 4-bar coverage.

I’d test it more except that it appears I have now completely broken Ford.com and FordPass….. Sorry guys.

FIXED! A few weeks after opening a case with FordPass, I got a call this morning asking to schedule a “triage” session with engineers. This turned out to be a call with a couple engineers this afternoon.

After walking through a few other troubleshooting steps, the fix was “simple” enough: doing a master reset of the Sync system. Of course, this means deleting any keys and losing all your settings, but it worked. Now I’ve got the charging banners back.

I still can’t push any charging schedule changes from the app to the car, so I’ll have another call with the engineers about that. One step at a time.

One tip: delete your keys from FordPass before you reset the system.

Just stumbled on this thread. Only had the car a few days—have NEVER seen charging status at all. Like everyone else, I get the other options to lock/unlock, open the trunk, and can “refresh” to see the current SOC—but nothing else. I don’t see an option to do a “master reset” in the app, but I’ll try logging out/ then deleting and reinstalling if that doesn’t work.

IOS also.

Not in the app. You have reset Sync on your car. It’s kind of a sucky process.

I too no longer get charging status via fordpass and the phone will not send a charging schedule indicating no response from fordpass. Not resetting it again as it was working and now not. Paak and carplay are still working and well. Will give it some time and hope after it stops deleting peoples paak and passcodes they fix my no response problem. If not it is time to find out where tech help lives as it is not a need but a want. I do get messages from securialert (even if out of schedule) which means there is life and makes me say uhh. I will trade securialert for charging status back if they offer.

So you’re saying you’d rather know if your car is plugged in / charging as opposed to getting an alert every time you open a door?

Ford Mustang Mach-E Anybody not getting plug/charging status in FordPass? 1626823176085

Me: I wish my doors unlocked reliably, Sync was less buggy, PAAK worked better, my driver screen didn’t buzz like a cheap TV, and FordPass would tell me my car is charging.

Ford: Well we can’t give you those things, but what if every time you open a door our app tells you that you opened your door?

Just saying I am open for a trade. ;)

For me the car is pretty well behaved right now doors, sync, paak (not fordpass)

I had to crank the asus DAC on planar headphones for a video of this display buzz one forum member posted just to hear what he was talking about. They said they had tampered and increased the audio but on my headphone setup I had it cracked the amp to what would normally blow your mind but then I did hear it. No display buzz here that bothers me. The front end buzzes sometimes sitting when still and quite just after you power on but I don't hear the display. Maybe Old ears?

I reached out to the FordPass customer service. They gave me the # to the FordPass Charging Network. The FordPass Charging Network said I need to speak with the "Ford Marketing Department." They transferred me there--and they were closed!

Who knows if this will ever get fixed. I'll also bring it up to my dealer and maybe they can help getting someone at Ford to pay attention to fixing it.

By the way, how the heck do you get the car to tell you that the doors are open or closed? It's not that I need it, but I don't even see that feature. Maybe it's not on the base select.

i was also having issues with the app not showing any charging info after the big app crash a week or so ago. I was able to to get it working again by turning off my vehicle connectivity (in the setting on the car) and turning it back on. Make sure the tab that say share vehicle data or driving data on as well. all my charging info came back.

i believe they removed the notification alert that doors are locked with the new update. i could be wrong though because i couldn't find it. I had turned mine off when i got the car through the app.

Whoa awesome tip @Jscotty—i went to shut off the vehicle connectivity but got a message that it would reset PAAK and a gazillion other things I’ve spent the last week tweaking. Not down with that.

but I DID go to the share menu and toggle some additional options ON. Strangely, the MME kept alerting me at startup that I WAS sharing driving data and could turn it off—but not EVERY EV share setting was toggled on. Did that and now functioning as expected!

I would of never thought of doing that for a fix but it is a fix here. Toggled car conductivity off and on and as soon as I did the car charge schedule sync’d in FordPass. Just plugged it in and charging details are back in app. Thank you very much. ?

3.29.0 was updating on the Vehicle page but not the Home page. As of now, 3.29.1 seems to have fixed that. We'll see if they stay synced after my next drive and charge.

I am having this issue now. The last location data in FordPass was from two weeks ago, and the charging blue bar is no longer present. I went into the car and looked at the Connectivity setting. I do not see how to “turn it off and back on”. I also do not see anything in any of the settings about sharing vehicle data. Where should I be looking for this?

if you go to settings scroll down to connectivity select connected vehicle features. It should be your first option vehicle connectivity
