I've had my MachE Premium extended range for 2 1/2 yrs but about 3 months ago I started to notice a sound I never noticed before. Whenever I press the accelerator or let up on it I hear a brief faint "knock" coming from the rear of the car. It sounds like the sound when one billiard ball hits another. It just lasts a second but happens every time I press the accelerator and then again when I let up. I get the same sound whether I am in 1-pedal mode or not. I removed all lose objects inside the car and no change. I've tried accelerating as minimally as possible or barely let up on the pedal so that delta-V is barely perceptible and it still happens. I don't think this is a big deal, just curious if anyone else noticed it or had any idea what it could be? Thanks

A little engine knock is not unheard of in higher mileage cars. Just use higher octane electrons when fueling and have the service department check the timing during the next service.

I have also just started noticing a similar sound in the last couple of months. I am right at 2 years and ~44k miles ownership. Did you get it fixed?

Yes, this totally happens to me too. I notice it mostly in cold temps.
