Does anyone know what this is Above the speed limit . It suddenly appeared while driving today.
When I turned off my car and restarted it, it was gone!

Thank you! I have never used cruise control so I must have turned it off/on by accident!

Wow, I guess some people go 6 months without using cruise control! I can barely go 6 minutes.
Hard agree. I probably do 95% of my driving with cruise control turned on. Set to a following distance of four, it’s nicely smooth and exhibits very few hard stops/starts.

There is a button on the left side of the steering wheel. You must have accidentally pressed it while turning. I do it sometimes and it freaks me out when I let go of the pedal expecting it to slow down, but instead it maintains speed

I live by cruise control ... better 'throttle' management than my right foot ... and I've trained myself to have a very steady right foot for max economy.

So that people like us can read it and tell people who can't be bothered to read it what everything means
And we thank you for your service!

I'm sure that if I used cc at all, or could see that part of the display, I would have the same question if I saw that one. If I were curious enough.

I drive 30 miles to work but I generally take surface streets!
I love the fact that cruise control (and even BlueCruise) works on surface streets - albeit that you need to manually re-initiate starting from a stop either by pressing a button on the steering wheel, or by pressing the "gas". (To be clear, BlueCruise doesn't work hands free, but as long as it can see the lane lines on both sides of the street, it will generally work.)
