I have a 21 that for the first half year I could approach the car with the key on my person and push the driver's door button and it would open..then it started to occasionally not allow it so I changed the battery on the fob with no success..the car has to go in for warranty on the roof seal anyways,but thought I'd throw it out there..thx

Make sure they perform the 21P22 updates while it's in for the recall. That fixes a lot of door weirdness.
