I purchased a 23 Premium on 17 July 2023. We were extremely happy with it and it operated perfectly. After three days the SiriusXM went out. On the center display “hardware problem” appeared. I took the car to the dealer (912 miles) on 22 August and they stated the ACM was bad and would replace it. Latter they replaced the splitter cable that goes to the ACM. As explained to me that ACM is either linked to or controls other modules. They have attempted numerous software updates, all of which failed. It has been over a month and the car is still at the dealer. They can’t load software onto the ACM and I can’t drive it away even with a non-functional SiriusXM (which I seldom listen to) becase it has been bricked. Yes I called the BEV Team a couple weeks ago who during my call they put me on hold, called the service advisor and relayed his message “it will be ready soon”. So, my advice is do not take your Mach-E in for minor service and do not under estimate Ford’s ability to mess up a perfectly running car.
