I'm having a similar issue, my Sirius is acting like it's expired, but it's not. First, it would only tune the XM1 Preview channel, now it just says "Loading XM" or something with no sound. Tried sending a refresh signal via the SiriusXM website but it didn't do anything. CarPlay audio is working fine. I guess I'll try the 12v disconnect!?

My issue was no audio out of anything. Can you also hear audio when you go to FM and AM? If so, it sounds like a SiriusXM issue to me. Not sure if a 12v disconnect would do the trick.

Have you tried to go to a good wide open space to make sure that you have a good signal. I've had it go to No Audio when I was in a drive thru with a canopy. Once I get out of there everything worked again.

So I went back to my car and turned it on and this time it just said "Hardware Failure" when I went to Sirius. I didn't bother with trying Carplay as that had been working fine. I disconnected the negative battery cable so I'll go back out and see if that clears it or I'll be calling the dealer ?

I had the same issue a few days ago and decided to take it to a Ford dealer instead of trying to fix it myself.

I spoke directly with the mechanic, who mentioned that simply disconnecting the 12V battery isn’t always enough for these kinds of audio glitches. He also mentioned an additional battery under the seats (I'm not totally sure what he meant by that). I told him I had seen others fix it by disconnecting the 12V, but he said that didn’t always do the trick.

He hooked the car up to the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS) and ran a full scan, clearing all the codes, checking modules, and trying to push an audio update. That didn’t work at first.

After leaving the car with them for about an hour, he said the issue was resolved by installing a full batch of updates, including the body control module and others. Audio worked fine after that.

So if the 12V reset doesn’t help, a full software update via FDRS at the dealer might be worth a shot.

This happened to me this morning on my 23’ GT, first issue in 40k miles. Disconnecting the negative on the 12V for about 20 minutes, and it worked!! Thank you all! I did get a AWD performance reduced and AWD disabled notification when I turned it back on, but they seem to have resolved. I took her for a spin and seems fine 🤷🏻‍♂️
