Sorry in advance if this has already been addressed. I’ve been working with Charge point on this issue for 5 months. My 2021 MME doesn’t reach 90% charge target level with Charge Point Flex charger. It will charge for about an hour and then notifies me “Your vehicle plugged into CP HOME is drawing little power and maybe fully charged “. There are no limits set on the car or on the charger. The only settings are “Charge When Plugged In” and target level is 90%. Portable Ford Charger that came with the car works perfectly but charges at half the rate as Charge Point charger. Ford has no solution and doesn’t think it’s their fault. Charge Point customer service has been great trying to solve this but after 5 months and 3 replacement chargers no fix. I’ve just requested a return and refund. The service rep didn’t guarantee that was going to happen. Anyone else go through this?

FYI the cause of this was an overheating charge port (P0E5F code), which throttles the charging rate. The dealer will need to replace the charge port under warranty.

So, try Clipper Creek EVSE and GM level 1. Been using them for five years, never a problem.
I realize that Clipper Creek is not cool and utility companies do not like them (they lack the software/programmable nonsense). Simple but completely functional.
Remember, all EVSEs have Clipper Creek technology incorporated in them; some just cut corners/add too much stuff.
