Blind spot detector damaged and need replacement

I discovered that the blind spot detector and mounting bracket on my 2022 machE GT are damaged and need to be replaced. I had a bad experience with the dealer and I am looking to replace myself. I have received conflicting information on the need to program or calibrate the new sensor - does anyone know if I need to either program or calibrate the new sensor?? If I need to - would you know what I would need to use? THANKS

If the angle is pretty close it might be okay after driving it a while. You'll have to try it and see. If the light stays on, then you'll have to have it programed.

I know from 2010 up to 2018 maybe even 19 the ICE Mustang always had that little Blindspot mirror built-in. I loved that. I’m not really a fan of the Bliss.
