Sometimes I wish the MME would lock the J-plug to the charging port.

I honestly wondered how long it would take before this or ripping cables off of public chargers would take. My brother suffered the catalytic theft and now has a very pricey shield on his Tacoma.

I didn’t think you could even steal a Level 2 cable without taking it apart or cutting it off at the risk of death?

I think it's a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't ' situation. In an emergency, like an electrical fire, the owner or someone else might need to pull out the plug quickly.

I pulled my ChargePoint cable out of the charger probably by catching it on some part of my car after not fully hanging it up. No damage.
