I have a grizzll-e classic premium cable 24'. It is on a 50 amp circuit 14-50 plug. If I plug the unit in during the scheduled charge it works properly and charges. If it is plugged in during off schedule the car senses it and shows waiting for scheduled charge. When that time arrives the car shows red, I unplug from the car and plug back in and it starts?.
The Ford mobile charger works properly. Does anyone else have a problem setting a schedule and having the Grizzl-e charge?

I don't have time-of-use billing so I don't use a charging schedule with my grizzl-e, but that seems like a problem you should report to grizzl-e support. There may be some quirk in their implementation of the communication protocol with the car.

Thanks, that was my thought Grizzle-e support has been very slooow to look into this. Just wondering if it was my unit or all of them.

My Grizzl-E started just tripping red during the day when unplugged, has degraded over time to the point now that it will not charge the car for over 30 minutes without tripping. Think there is a bad batch of them out there. I contacted the company last Tuesday and am waiting for a response.

Will give them another chance next week and if no joy move on to another brand.

I've got the same issue, they sent me a technical support form on Tuesday which I filled out and returned but no response yet.

My Grizzl-E classic has been good so far. Had it for 2 months. It gets along well with the scheduling in the car. Mine is on a 40 amp circuit so set to charge at 32 amps.

I just bought the Smart version and have the installation scheduled for June 10th. If I see issues I will post them in this thread.

Interestingly, I also bought the Soft Carry Case and it is clearly branded as "Juice Box"! Is there a connection between Juice Box & Grizzl-E?

The only connection I'm aware of is that both brands are sold by autochargers.ca. Maybe Grizzl-E resells the autochargers.ca bag for customers who want a bag?

It is weird, though, especially since autochargers.ca doesn't sell its own bag on its own site.

I have had my Grizzl E for a couple of months. 50amp breaker and set to 40 amps.
No issues for me.

I’ve been using a Grizzl-E with scheduled charging for months now with no issues.

Thanks for all the feedback, it certainly looks like I have a unit problem. Trying to work with them on it now.

Grizzl-e sent me a email today and they are sending me a new unit. Thanks to all for your feedback.
Glad that they stood up for their equipment. Makes me even more comfortable with my purchase.

Just to follow up. I can not recommend Grizzl-e. They sent me another charger and it had more problems than the first. I have requested a refund and return shipping label, So far they have gone "Dead air" on me no responses.
Will follow up if they respond eventually.
