I have an early build 2021 Mach-e, purchased in March 2021. Recently, I’ve noticed that the overhead view of the backup camera doesn’t quite line up anymore. For example, if I have the camera on and I drive over road markings, the view from the side no longer aligns with the view in the front, like the front camera is pointed down a little. The view used to be perfectly aligned, so I’m guessing this is something that just goes out of alignment at some point.

Is this a calibration issue? Do I need to take the car into the shop to fix?

Is this possibly a cause for occasional “no adaptive cruise control” messages I receive?

TIA

I’d like to see if I could assist with your camera concerns. Can you please send over a message with your VIN and estimated mileage so I can start looking into this on my end?

Yes you can get it calibrated if it bothers you.

I had the exact problem you described. I had it in for the hvbjb recall on Monday and asked them to take a look while it was in. It says on my paperwork that they performed the recalibration, but unfortunately it looks exactly the same still. The loaner they gave me (23 GT) looked out of alignment in the same way, too. I swear it was perfect when I got my car…

My rear camera has always been out of alignment. It’s fine for safety, but it sucks trying to back into a space (guide lines are off to the side, camera azimuth is off). It was way easier backing my ‘69 Cadillac into a space, but it also had very good rear visibility. No clue as to how it would align with the mirror and front cameras since I don’t have them. ?‍♂?
