Can’t Enable Wireless App Projection

Took my ‘21 Job 1 in for a new APIM, and upon getting it back u noticed wireless CarPlay doesn’t work. WiFi works, FordPass works, but wireless app projection slider just beeps when I click it and nothing happens. I’ve seen a few threads on this but nothing with a solve, anyone have a fix?

The Apple Car Play App on the Mach E is notorious for its inability to wirelessly connect in a reliable manner.
You need to connect your phone to the in-car PROJxxxx network once your Mach E is switched on for it to work.
If your phone is still connected to your home or office WiFi, it won’t connect wirelessly to CarPlay.
But also, the PROJxxxx network doesn’t always show up on your iPhone WiFi network search screen.
You may need to turn off wireless App projection in your car and then turn it back on.
You even may have to switch off your car and then switch it back on.
Note that even this workaround isn’t a guarantee of it working next time you get in your car. It may or may not connect again once more.
