I can't turn on the wireless app projection in my Mach-e and therefore cannot use Android Auto wirelessly. I can use AA with a USB cable only. In my vehicle I go into settings, connectivity, Wireless App Projection, and slide the button to the right to activate WAP, the button moves to the right and beeps, but it does not turn blue to indicate it turned on ( pic attached)I've tried resetting the vehicle display screen, using a different Android phone, deleting and re-installing AA on phone, but nothing works. I've ready others have had this similar issue but I have not been able to resolve it. Has anyone here experienced this?

Check your phone. On my iPhone, I had a problem until I went into my Wi-Fi settings on the phone and connected to the PROJ#### network that showed up. Once the car and phone did that handshake and my phone now knows to auto-connect to that “trusted network”, no issues. Every now and again it will take my car a while to connect to CarPlay and I figured out it’s because the phone won’t drop my work network Wi-Fi, so I select the cars projection signal and all is good.
