New to Mach-E, I bought this car a month ago and have wanted to turn on automatic updates. When I go to the update section, all it does is stay on loading. In the Ford app, I can toggle it on, but then it turns itself back off. Am I going to have to take it in to the dealership to get this fixed? I heard something about disconnecting the 12v battery, but just want some tips/thoughts. Thanks!

Pull the 12v and if that works, you're good. If it doesn't, you need to go to the dealer.

Pull the 21-22 fuse and if that works you're good. Otherwise, you'll next need to try the 12v pull. If that fails, off to the dealer you go.

I typically do the 12v pull to "reboot" all the modules in the car cause if that fails I know I have larger issues I cannot fix myself. Saves me time and helps with troubleshooting.

Disconnect the 12v battery in the frunk for 20 minutes and then try checking for updates again.

I had the same thing happen to me when I picked up a new to me 2023 MME. As others have mentioned, disconnect the battery for around 15 mintues.

I tried the fuse, and they are really wedged in there. So you need to get a fuse puller or you might lose the fuse (which happened to me). Howver that personally didn't work for me.

For this specific issue, I recommend the battery pull and not just the fuse.
