Can I add Google app back without doing a factory reset?

So awhile back I thought I would try Alexa on my '25 Mach-E. It wasn't all I thought it would be so figured I would just go back to using Google as my main voice app on my car (I also use Siri on my phone). However, not only will my car not respond to my voice when I say "Google", the app is gone. I spent awhile texting with a very helpful Mach-E tech and all the suggestions did not work but he did feel that when I added Alexa, the voice command switched to that so we shut that off. But now there is no Google app so I can't even try to reconnect my Google account. Tech said that when you set up a profile it automatically goes to Google but he wasn't sure how to get it back. He suggested if all else fails, do a total reset. I will do that if I have to but know I will also need to set everything up again. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about how to get Google back once it's disappeared...
