Canada Delivery Hold

Hi Everyone.

Is anyone waiting to get their Mach-E delivered in Canada due to the Battery Contactor Issue and the Delivery Hold that is in place? What has your dealership said so far?

I wonder if it's just legal hurdles here in Canada that are preventing the same thing to be implemented here.

Fix was released in Canada Monday. I was officially able to pick-up my delivery-held car in ONT yesterday.

Took delivery of mine wednesday. Had to initially fight the dealer as their service advisor blindly declared the recall needed some parts and they would not be available for a while.
I told my salesman to talk to the service manager as their service advisor clearly had not read the recall update.
Took all of 45 minutes to apply it.

I believe this is more the norm than the exception now a days. Lots of unaware people in service dept. of Dealerships...

I have some friends who ordered a Mach-E but was on delivery hold due to this update. Their dealer installed the update now that it was released last week and they are picking it up this week.

Any back log really would depend on the dealership and how busy their shop is I guess.
