New issue just popped up and as far as I can tell no new update to blame. After sitting for couple days I got in car and my carplay kept flashing to connect. Tried turning CarPlay off and back on snd resetting synch with still same issue. Any ideas?

What iOS are you on? I’m on 17.3 beta and have been getting this randomly. CarPlay will be connected, then randomly disconnect, sometimes reconnect on its own, and repeat.

Reboot both Sync and the iPhone. Been working solidly for a while.

I’ll try rebooting phone. I already rebooted synch a couple times. I also removed my car from carplay but it wouldn’t let me reconnect. It all happened late last night so didn’t mess with it real long. I’m on 17.2 but looks like my phone is teed up for 17.2.1

My car play has started working w/o a wired connection. Was this part of an update?

In the last couple of days I’ve had CarPlay issues (not connecting at all, or a very delayed connection), also satellite radio keeps defaulting to channel 1 (and I have a paid subscription). I rebooted sync and now rebooting my phone. I don’t believe I’ve had an update on either device in at least a week.
I enjoy the technologies, but this one is strange in the absence of a recent update on either device.

It was totally unexpected for sure. For a very long time my CarPlay worked flawlessly both USB and bluetooth and then the next day not at all.
