Carplay playing up

Anyone else having CarPlay connectivity issues over the last 5 days or so? Two iPhones both latest iOS one a 12 and one a 15 seem to be failing to connect first time and a combination of sync reboot, phone reboot gets it working again.

It’s now failed 4 out of 5 recent trips out, a tad frustrating.

As far as I know Mach e is running most recent update too but will have a look tomorrow

It happens to me often. I just go to devices menu and tap on car play.

Not so much connectivity but when I try to play a playlist or shuffle songs, it just keeps replaying the current song until I hit the advance button. Also doesn't appear to show my full library but only "recently played" songs - incredibly frustrating and definitely just started over the last five days or so.

I’ve started to use the in car sync navigation more and more recently particularly on longer journeys as wireless CarPlay also hammers my iphone15’s battery, the wireless charging pad is next to useless and plugging it in is a faff, also all that stress on my iPhones battery will probably knacker it prematurely and due to it being a work phone I have to keep it 3 years so battery is paramount unless I accidentally drop it but then I will probably end up with an exemployees one believe me it wouldn’t be refurbished!
Plus in the UK we now get traffic updates etc for free for ever apparently which when I got the Mach e it was only the 1st year that was the reason I used CarPlay as I knew I was never going to pay per month after the year.

Same and when that fails with a "Iphone did not respond" I reboot my iPhone and it works again.
