Hi all, I've been on a Google pixel since buying the car and have only experienced Android Auto. I have run into 2 things that I'd really like to correct once and for all, they are:
1) MS Teams app only alerts on new chat messages. Any in-app voice calls fail to be recognized by the Auto app, so there is no mute functionality or any recognition that you're in a call. Even to the extent where my music will sometimes keep trying to play (despite being muted). Does the Apple Carplay experience include recognition of being in an audio call with on screen mute/end buttons?
2) the voice assistant (both on screen and long press on steering wheel) are buggy. Most of the time they don't work unless I toggle to another screen then back to Auto. I have gotten in the habit of going to Tire Pressure, then back. Is apple carplay more stable when you long press on the wheel? I have a feeling this may be a pixel-ism, but who knows, nobody else seems to have mentioned this oddity.
Thanks for any insights.
