Central Dial Stuck in Dark Mode

Received 4.1.2 a few days back, but had only driven at night, so I didn't notice this earlier.

When I took my Mach-E for a drive in the AM today, I noticed that central dial is stuck in dark mode.

I tried cycling the central display between light and dark, SYNC reset, and a power cycle for the vehicle, but nothing has helped yet. Has anyone experienced this before?

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Like all of the MME other "features." Like lack of a frunk button, because it encourages exercise by making you bend down to pull the release. Or the HVBJB mal function which helps climate change by preventing you from charging and taxing the grid.

I run all my screens in dark mode. Light mode looks out of place and its distracting. Just run in dark mode and it'll match

It’s not a bug, I believe it’s intentional. It’s not “stuck in dark mode”, dark mode is a dark grey, this is black like the inside of the volume knob, so I’m 99% sure it’s intentional.

Known issue, as said before. I think it looks dumb based on past history with the car. But if I had 4.1.2 all along, I don't think I'd know that this wasn't designed this way from the get-go. ??

Could be worse, the car could look like a bloated catfish
