Changing config after reservation

I would like to change to an extended range battery. I reserved MME premium AWD standard range on 05/01/2021. I am assuming my dealer should be able to do it. Did anybody do a similar thing. If yes, please share your experience.

I did via text with my sales person. No issues at all as long as you don’t have a build week assigned yet.
