Yesterday we got our 10k mile service, and the dealer applied fixes for 6 or so recalls. I also pulled down the latest OTA software.
Last night right as charging hit the set 90% limit I got sent a notice about a charge fault. It was flashing orange at the charge port and would start / run AC but not shift out of park. Sometimes it'd pop a message on the driver display to unplug before starting even though no cable was plugged in. The button next to the charge point or plugging the cable back in just flashed orange again.
Scary, so I just left it alone (and off the charge cable) for a couple hours. After that everything was behaving normally again. Car drove (and charged) just fine today.
Couldn't find anything definitive online about it, symptoms were similar to a dead 12v battery -- but the 12v battery was checked yesterday and all the accessories were functioning just fine.
So, I guess I'm just going to chalk it up to a bunch of updates fighting with each other. Unless it recurs, at which point I'll switch from the tesla wall charger to the ford mobile charger and see if things change.
